Our Story

ARCHIVE BY NATALIE is founded by Natalie Courtois, stylist, fashion historian and
journalist.

Her journey into buying and selling vintage began whilst pregnant with her first
daughter, Ivy, back in 2006. What started as a side hobby quickly grew into a
passion for buying and selling vintage clothing. Obsessed with story telling, and the
story of clothes, she went on to graduate with a BA HONS in Fashion & Dress
History.

In 2021 Archive by Natalie was born, opening her store in Notting Hill alongside a
community of vintage sellers from the iconic Portobello vintage market. The store
has seen a few reinventions since that time and now Natalie personally curates each
and every piece, sourced in the UK or one of the cities she visits regularly such as
Paris, both for the store, website and her own personal archive, which is available for
loan to industry stylists.

She has worked with costume designers on shows such as The Crown, And Just like That, The Royals and Mobland to name a few and her pieces are sought by many celebrity faces in the worlds of fashion and music, such as Alexa Chung, Lottie Moss and Wolf Alice.

She is also the Editor of La Femme London, an online magazine dedicated to
beauty, London lifestyle and fashion, all with a mindful luxury approach.
Combining her love for beauty, sustainable fashion and books, ABN launched
lifestyle products that compliment the collection and can be shopped instore as well
as online.
